Electronic waste (e-waste) can have serious environmental and health consequences. According to the Geneva Environment Network, which analysed the environmental impact of e-waste, elements and materials used in the manufacturing of electronic devices are incredibly harmful to our planet.

To eradicate electronic waste, it was essential to implement a comprehensive approach that covered the reduction, reuse, and recycling of these devices. This involved promoting responsible consumption, repair, and donation of equipment, as well as ensuring proper management of electronic waste at the end of its life cycle.

The main goal of this initiative was to raise awareness among students about the environmental effects of e-waste and to promote its proper disposal through recycling.
